Everything becomes a little more real, as soon as it is spoken out loud.
I spent the past weekend catching up with my good pals Jules and Alex. Our adventure started with searching out a nice independent coffee shop. After squeezing through the doors of a number of shops we wandered off and found a neat new spot that suited all our fancies. They won my heart with a Salted Caramel Affogato.
It was great to get out as I’ve had myself on lock down all week, trying to keep a constant roll of creativity, morning to night. I’m lucky enough to be one of those people who don’t need more time but more deadlines to complete what we’ve currently got on. It’s great because I get more done but does mean I do need the occasional lock down every now and then.
So, taking the weekend with my arms stretched wide, we shared stories, updated our personal mind blogs and took time to bounce ideas, future plans and get opinions, (of course with a fair amount of banter and fiddling with the light fixtures!). Alex has been busy working on building a create collaborative outlet for The Daily Street, called TDSCreate. Their first main project, was working with Playstation for their soon-to-drop new colour ways for the ps3. Jules has been crafting away hard, keeping his artists at the top, working with the likes of Flux Pavilion, Doctor P, FuntCase and Cookie Monsta. You may see some involvement with these guys and Suffoca soon.

We also took some time to chill out in the British Museum. I love this building. The library centre was closed but I remember it blowing my mind as a kid… all I could think of was how long it would take to dust! Whilst wondering around, I was thinking how much I would be interested in seeing the lives of the people who work day and night at the Museum…maybe this will be something I’ll look into in the future, who knows.

All in all, the weekend was great. I got to share a bunch of ideas and by bouncing them off these guys and transforming them in to something much more solid and interesting, I really can’t wait to share it with you guys soon.
